  7.     It had to happen -- a Soviet actress appearing seminude in
  8. Playboy. What is more astonishing, however, is that NATALIA
  9. NEGODA'S appearance in the May issue of the magazine was
  10. arranged by Sovexportfilm, a state cinema organization. "I would
  11. not even have considered posing had I not got official
  12. approval," she says. Negoda pooh-poohs its effect on the good
  13. folk back home. "It is not actually that daring because, of
  14. course, we do not get Playboy in the Soviet Union." Her
  15. countrymen are already seeing enough of her to be shocked.
  16. Negoda, 25, stars in Little Vera, the first Soviet film to
  17. feature what is by Soviet standards explicit sex. "There are not
  18. many films in this country that are so true to life," says
  19. Negoda. Will she go Hollywood? "I'm very interested," she says,
  20. "but I'm not sure what they think of me." As for Western stars,
  21. Negoda's favorites are Marlon Brando, Dustin Hoffman and
  22. Jessica Lange, only one of whom would interest Playboy.
